Protection of records
Records are protected from loss, destruction, falsification, unauthorised access and unauthorised release.
What an assessor looks for
Show retention periods, where records are held, and how they are protected for the whole retention period including in archive and backup.
Where it usually fails
Retention schedules exist and nothing is ever deleted, so the organisation holds records well beyond the period it defined.
