Logging
Logs recording activities, exceptions, faults and other relevant events are produced, stored, protected and analysed.
What an assessor looks for
Show what is logged, retention, and protection of the logs from alteration by those they record. Administrator activity must be covered.
Where it usually fails
Logs are collected and retained for a period shorter than the time it typically takes to detect an intrusion.
