Information security event reporting
Staff can report observed or suspected security events through appropriate channels, in a timely way.
What an assessor looks for
Ask a member of staff how they would report something. If they cannot answer without looking it up, the channel is not effective however well it is documented.
Where it usually fails
A reporting channel exists and receives almost nothing, which usually indicates fear of blame rather than absence of events.
