Access control
Rules controlling physical and logical access are established on business and security requirements.
What an assessor looks for
The policy must state the basis for granting access, typically role and need to know, and reality must match it. Assessors sample accounts against the stated rules.
Where it usually fails
The policy states least privilege while access is granted by copying the permissions of an existing colleague.
